american culture

the cool thing about this place here is that land is abundant. there are no high rise buildings, there are no HDB blocks, buildings are mainly 1-2 storeys in height, and we can see the sky almost everywhere we go


we had a little american party last night, though i wasnt really in the mood for it. it had been a long day and ya, was tired. above is the picture before the party, the international students. it seems that in their culture, they like to stand around in the cold, talk to each other for a bit, and ya, pretty much amazing, like how we all live in the same world, vary so much in terms of habits and culture.

still haven gotten a phone yet. sucks
